Manolis Manolakakis, DMD, FACS
Manolis Manolakakis, DMD, FACS, is a board-certified cosmetic, oral, and maxillofacial surgeon at SculptMD, an aesthetic med spa in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. He offers advanced aesthetic treatments to men and women who want to feel good about the way they look and present themselves in the best way possible.
Dr. Manolakakis has over two decades of experience in medicine. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, which is now the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
He went on to complete a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, where he was named chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi, and through Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Manolakakis is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He also holds affiliations with the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and New Jersey College of Surgeons, among others.
For each new and returning patient, Dr. Manolakakis provides an in-depth evaluation of their facial contours. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Manolakakis lectures across the nation on cosmetic surgical techniques. He also published a chapter about face-lifts in Cosmetic Surgery for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, a manual on cosmetic surgery.
